Hi. I have a Voice Sense notetaker for sale. I got it several months ago from another user and it was and is still in excellent condition. I am selling it because, although I really like the portability and the modern features of it, I find that I am rarely using it now, since I'm beginning to use my phone and laptop more for everything. So I would rather someone have it that can get more use out of it.
Aside from it having the usual word-processor, date and time, calendar, calculator, and some games, it also has a radio and the ability to record and listen to audio files, there is a program for accessing Twitter, you can communicate via Google Talk, and you can also access Dropbox with it. You would also have the ability to access the Internet via wifi, as well as other features. It is also very lightweight, small and comfortable to use.
There is just one issue with it in that although it has a program for downloading Bookshare content, I seemed not to be able to get into it; it would sound to indicate the progress, but yet it would seem to not do anything. You could still download books via the website, but the actual program on the notetaker may not work. otherwise, everything works as it should.
I am only asking $320, which would include shipping. The package will include the notetaker and carrying case, earbuds, a CF card, and an SD card.
Please post back here, or you can contact me through PM or e-mail if you have any questions or if interested.
Thanks for reading.
Hi, still offering this unit? Also, does it have SenseNav, the GPS feature from Hims?
Yes; it is still available. But while it has the ability to be used for GPS, it does not have the
needed extra hardware and software for that.
Never mind; good luck.
You can buy a GPS receiver that connects via Bluetooth for like $30. I have the Holux m-1000 and it works great with Sense products. Also, most internal GPS receivers blow anyway, so you'd be wasting your time with one. JMO.
I might be interested. I'm just not sure where I'd find the money. Let me check some things out. I need something portable, and it's going to take time for me to figure the phone out.
If someone gets it first, then it wasn't meant for me to have it.
Blessings!

This very well may meet my needs for a small computing device, and the price is decent! What operating system does it use, and what synthesizer? If Windows, can it run NVDA or at lest use ESpeak? If not, is there a version of the synthesizer that can read Greek? Does it have a qwerty or braille keyboard? I have a Braillenote from 2002 or so, but this sounds like it has more features and is most likely better able to handle the internet content of today. I am assuming that it can be connected with a computer, but does it have a parallel port for embossers and printers?
i never heard of that device. does it have a Braille Display or just voice?
@Gingy
It only has voice.
@Eleni
I believe it uses Windows CE or some portable version of Windows, but you cannot install different synthesizers that I know of. It uses Eloquence and has a braille keyboard.
